Call for Papers
Papers are invited on any aspect of the syntax and syntax-phonology interface of
Mediterranean languages with particular emphasis on Arabic, Greek, Hebrew and
Turkish. We strongly favor analyses within the Principles and Parameters framework
and its current developments within the Minimalist Program.
Abstracts for the main and the interface sessions are invited for 30-minute
presentations plus 10 minutes for questions. Abstracts are also invited for a poster
session. Please specify the session(s) you would like to be considered for.
Submissions are limited to one singly authored and one jointly authored abstract per
author or two jointly authored abstracts.
Abstracts Submission
Abstracts should be electronically submitted as PDF/DOC/RTF attachments to
msm2 boun.edu.tr. Special symbols should also be included in the attachment. The filename should be unique. You should use your first name's initial and your last name to name your abstract. For example: John Smith's abstract would be named jsmith.pdf, NOT abstract.pdf or msm.pdf. The subject of the message should specify ''Abstract'', and the body should include the following information:
- Author's Name(s) and contact information
- Affiliation
- Title of the abstract
- Postal address & e-mail address
Please specify whether you would like your abstract to be considered for:
- syntax-phonology interface session
- the main session
- the poster session (multiple selections possible
Abstract Format
Abstracts should be limited to one page in length, with 1'' margins and use no smaller than 12 point font. Abstracts may also include a second page limited to examples and references, also with 1'' margins and 12 point font. Upon acceptance, authors will be asked to submit a named, camera-ready abstract.
