Accommodation

  • Etiler Uygulama Oteli (a budget hotel which does not offer special conference rates; early reservation is strongly recommended)
  • Bebek Hotel (to be eligible for MSM2 rates, please mention that you are a participant)

Meals

There are different alternatives for meals.

The typical cost of meals are as follows:

  • Breakfast: 3.0 €
  • Lunch & Dinner: 4-7 €

Mainly, you can eat in the Kennedy Lodge in South Campus and Student Cafeterias in all campuses. The places where you can eat are shown below.

South Campus

(1) Cafeterias: There are many cafeterias in South Campus. You can find any beverages and drinks. Moreover, in some of them, it is possible to buy meat and chicken dishes and salads.

(2) Kennedy Lodge: There's a restaurant serving different kinds of meals from the Turkish cuisine in Kennedy Lodge.

(4) Table D'Hote Cafeteria: Serves standard meals for lunch and dinner. It is open between 13:00-14:30 for lunch and 17:00-19:00 for dinner in weekdays. The meals consists of soup, main meal (generally meat dish), pasta (or rice), dessert (or fruits) (2.25 YTL)

(3) Roof Cafeteria: It serves different species of meals, beverages and drinks.

Alternatively, you can eat outside of the campus. Some of the places are listed below:

Where to eat outside the campus

(1) Boğaziçi Pastanesi: Cakes and desserts.

(2) Popüler Pizzeria: Different kinds of pizza is served. (8-15 YTL)

(3) Diyar Dürüm: Serves Urfa Kebap, Adana Kebap, Köfte and similar meat dishes as well as soups and breakfast. (6-8 YTL)

(4) Cafe Bu: Different kinds of salads, pastry, hamburger, cheeseburger and similar meals. Also it is possible to find cakes and desserts. (8-15 YTL)

(5) Hazalana İskender Kebapçısı: Kebap species and other meat dishes. (6-10 YTL)

(6) Tantuni Dürümevi: Tantuni Kebap and other kebap species. (6-10 YTL)

(7) Yenice: Different (homemade) meals from Turkish cuisine. (8-15 YTL)

(8) Ezgi Pide: Kebap Species, Lahmacun and Pide (like pizza). (6-10 YTL)

(9) Doydos Burger: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Köfte, Chicken and Salads. (6-10 YTL)

(10) Wonderland: Different meals from Turkish and World cuisine like Chinese Chickens and Spaghetti Bolognese. A wide range of cakes and desserts is also served. (8-15 YTL)

(11) Boluca: Different (homemade) meals from Turkish cuisine. (8-15 YTL)

(12) Don Kişot: Different kinds of salads, pastry, hamburger, cheeseburger and similar meals. Also it is possible to find cakes and desserts. (8-15 YTL)

(n) North Campus (s) South Campus

If you prefer to eat by the seaside, you can follow the way to Bebek Gate in South Campus. At the gate, you can turn left to go to Hisar (Fortress) and turn right to go to Bebek.

(1) Bebek: There are several places in Bebek to eat and drink.

(2) Hisar (Fortress): Near the Rumeli Fortress, you can find many places to eat. Kale Cafe may be a favorite place to have a breakfast at weekends. In addition to meat dishes, you can easily find fish dishes in Hisar.
