Welcome to the MSM-II web site

Mediterranean Syntax Meeting-2 aims at bringing together theoretical linguists working with the languages of the Mediterranean basin, focusing particularly on those languages of the region that have received relatively less attention in the field of theoretical linguistics. The conference welcomes research on any aspect of the syntax, syntax-phonology and/or syntax-semantics interfaces of the Mediterranean languages with particular emphasis on Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, and Turkish. Contributions on other languages of the region are also welcome. MSM aims to contribute to the analyses of the Mediterranean languages within the Principles and Parameters framework and its current developments within the Minimalist Program.
